Kappa Alpha Alumni Association
"Through Striving We Shall Achieve, Through Achieving We Shall Succeed!"
Presidential Address
Greetings Brothers and Guests,
We welcome you to The Kappa Alpha Alumni Association where “College Days Swiftly Pass, but The Bonds of Brotherhood Endure”. Since our inception, we have brought together KA Brothers from the various eras at multiple events: A-Day Cookouts, Homecoming Tailgates, and UA Black Greek Reunions. Undergraduate and Alumni brothers alike enjoy the tutelage and fellowship exchanged during Association events. Furthermore, all of us are always delighted to welcome our beloved Mini-Jewels, “The Excellent Eight,” whose stories of KA past are a great source of pride and heritage.
Our purpose, First and Foremost, is to support the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Whether attending various events or providing advice, guidance, and financial assistance, we want to be a comprehensive support system that ensures continued chapter success. This includes developing a plan for ownership of a Greek House on the campus of The University of Alabama, providing scholarships, and maintaining a partnership between the Undergraduates and Alumni to provide the greatest positive impact to the community. While not directly affiliated with the National Organization, we do also seek to encourage Brothers to remain active in Graduate Chapters, so that the impact of Kappa Alpha Brothers can be revered throughout the nation beyond our college days.
In conclusion, we are asking for your commitment, presence, and support. Kappa Alpha has historically been most empowered by the support of its Alumni. We must continue this great tradition of support, evidenced long before the founding of The Kappa Alpha Alumni Association. Please inform KA Brothers of our website as our source of KAAA Information. More sensitive information will be housed in our “Members Only” section. Contact us with any questions, comments, or concerns at kaalumni74@gmail.com, @KAAlumni1906 or @KAAAssociation. Please take a few moments to visit our Guestbook and leave a few words. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Bro. Geoffrey Patton, President
The Kappa Alpha Alumni Association
